A Parent's Guide to Booking Pitches
Booking windows, kit checklists and the questions to ask before you hand over a deposit.
Every weekend, pitches across Riverside Fields, Westmeadow and Northgate Park book out by Thursday. Here is how to get the good slots.
Know the window. Most venues open bookings seven days ahead at 09:00. Set an alarm — the 3G surface at Westmeadow and the floodlit slots at Riverside Arena go first.
Ask before you pay. Confirm cancellation policy, referee costs, whether bibs and balls are included, and what happens in rain. A 10-minute phone call saves a season of headaches.
Pack the checklist. Shin pads, water, a spare ball, and a printed booking reference — most venues check it at the gate.
